| The Salvation Army's Developmental Disabilities Program has been supporting people with disabilities since 1980. Today, we provide residential supports to 95 people in eastern Pennsylvania and the State of Delaware and have assisted hundreds to find work or participate in community life. Our staff are highly trained and experienced with providing supports to people with a variety of needs in diverse settings. |

We are committed to serving the community by recognizing the gifts each person brings to community life and by supporting their efforts to achieve their potential. Currently, The Salvation Army has Developmental Disabilities programs in Philadelphia, Bucks, Chester and Montgomery Counties in Pennsylvania and Sussex, Kent, and New Castle Counties in Delaware. The Salvation Army is one of the largest providers of social/human services in the United States and has been in existence for nearly 140 years.
